Minutes of the Meeting of December 11, 2003.

 Mr. Carroll opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the Salah Hearing Room,
Memorial Hall.

Crest Distributors - 560 Turnt}ike St.

 Mr. Roy Santos of Crest Distributors represented the petitioner. He stated the
petitioner is requesting to replace the existing free-standing sign with a new free-standing
two-sided sign. The existing sign is three feet by eight feet and is in disrepair. The
proposed sign would be six feet by five feet, would read, "Crest, Ceramic Tile, Retail
Showroom," with the telephone number and website and would be illuminated. He stated
the petitioner runs a wholesale business with a 2000 s.f. showroom.

 Mr. Carroll stated that retail is not allowed in a limited industrial area except as a
small, incidental use. He stated he does not think the sign should advertise retail.

 Mr. Fitzgerald requested to see the whole sign and asked what the hours of
lighting would be.

 Mr. Santos stated they have a timer set up and the light goes off around 10 p.m.

 Mr. Carroll stated if Mr. Santos wishes to drop off a rendering of the proposed
sign excluding any mention of retail sales, the Board would review it and take action at
the next hearing.

Scott Lenhart - 2738 Washinzton St.

 Attorney Richard Staiti represented petitioner. He requested a continuation of the
hearing until Feb. 26, 2004. The Board accepted.
