Police Department for many years and recently has worked for the Executive Office as
one of our "senior volunteers".

Mr. Titus noted that the School is raffling off a 2006 Ford Escape to raise money for the
Adopt a Shop. The winner was supposed to be drawn on Thanksgiving Day, but they
have decided to extend the ticket sales of$lOO.OO/ticket until all three hundred tickets are
sold so that the School can benefit to the fullest from this raffle.

Neponset Street - Canoe Ramp: David Hodgdon

Mr. Friel noted that the Town of Canton has been pursuing the land on Neponset Street
owned by Sunoco. He noted that it has already been approved at Town Meeting for the
Town to accept such donation once "legal department" for Sunoco prepares the correct
paperwork. Mr. Friel noted that this is supposed to be completed by this Spring.

Mr. Friel introduced David Hodgdon the Executive Director of Blue Hills Adventure a
non-profit company. Mr. Hodgdon gave an overview of his canoe launch company. He
noted that they have been working with Sunoco to keep this area clean of debris. He
introduced the two volunteers who assist him and noted that without the volunteers this
would not be possible. Mr. Hodgdon noted that this is the only canoe livery spot on
Neponset Street. He noted that they are open 58 weeks and holidays. To-date 621 people
have used this spot either for fishing, canoing, or kayaking. Mr. Hodgdon noted that
people walk, ride their bikes, or bring their cars to this area.

Mr. Hodgdon is asking that the Board consider the relocation of a building to the area of
the "old Canton Airport" so that they can house the canoes, kayaks, etc. He noted that the
ZBA had given them a three-year permit for the placement of the trailer which will be
expiring soon. He noted the different options and asked that the Board take these under
consideration.
