ull Submitted, Minutes Board of Selectmen May 2, 2011 (Special) Memorial Hall -Salah Meeting Room Present: Victor D. Del Vecchio, Chairman, Avril T. Elkort, Vice-Chairman, Robert E.
Burr, Jr., Clerk, William T. Friel, Town Administrator, Jennifer Andrews, Administrative Secretary. Meeting was called to order at 6:35 p.m. It was noted that Mr. Salvatori was not in
attendance as he has a prior commitment. Action Items/Old Business Request to Approve: Bonds — Reissuance — Jim Murgia, Finance Director Jim Murgia, Finance Director, presented to the
Board with the bonds requiring their signature for reissuance. He explained the bonds and the refinancing of some of the bonds which will result in a $60,000 savings. Motion was made
to approve the reissuance of the bonds presented by the Finance Director. The list of items to be financed or refinanced is attached. Motion: Mr. Burr Second: Ms. Elkort Vote: 4-0 Request
to Approve: New Health/Dental Rates — Lori Soloway, Human Resource Administrator Ms. Soloway, Human Resource Administrator, presented to the Board, her recommendation of the new Health
and Dental rates for Canton Employees. There was a brief discussion concerning the option. Motion was made to approve the new Health and Dental rated for Canton Employees as recommended
by the Human Resource Administrator. Motion: Mr. Burr Second: Ms. Elkort Vote: 4-0 Public Announcement/Comment The Board of Selectmen will hold its next meeting in the Salah Meeting
Room in Memorial Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2011
