He has worked with Tom Houston and the Department of Public Works on the completion of all items on the DPW punch list. This is a proposal and not cast in stone. Remove and reset frames and covers that have riser rings. 2. Do all items on Sewer Department list except replace frames and covers. Replace only broken frames or covers, remainder stay. Remove and reset frames and covers that have riser rings. 3. Eliminate ground water flow onto pavement Skyline Circle Sta. 0 +25. 4. Crack seal all roadways. 5. Replace hydrant end of Fern Brook Circle. 6. Remove sidewalk and replace loam and seed end of Fern Brook Road. 7. Remove and replace alligated pavement 3 1 /2 " asphalt not to exceed 5,000 sq. ft. 8. Clean, adjust and replace all necessary all water gate boxes. They will also be asking for a waiver to remove the sidewalks which will then not require ADA compliance and maintenance. This is an initial proposal and doesn't need to be done this way. This is their first pass at this, and not sure if it can be done this way. The Board should look it the proposal and think it over. Ms. Mirliani asked what would the time frame "for construction and completion" be if we agreed to this proposal. Paul Brodmerkle replied that it would be 60 days. Mr. Houston stated that he obviously hasn't had a chance to review this. And how the town gets the biggest bang for the buck which is about $115,000.00. Typically a private contractor gets more done than the town process. He plans to sit down with Jim Donovan, the Town Engineer and compare the proposal with what the town feels is best. He will look at the value of the proposal, crosscheck it, and then do a report to the Board for the next meeting which will be April 18, 2012. 2
