Atty Paul Schneiders passed out a handout showing their responses to some of the issues
raised by this board, as well as a layout of the floor plan for the restaurant, and a floor
plan for the game room. The concern was mix of adults and children. There will be an
adult employee in the room at all times. Pool tables not mixed with the arcade, or the
door will be locked. There are 22 arcade games. (down from 40 originally requested).
Chairman Carroll said the Board would retain the right to amend, revoke or modify this
decision. Possibly 6 month probationary period. Atty. Schneiders said they are re nting
the game tables, they could put a clause if no permit from town, they go back. I have had
14 yrs experience going to these places with kids and never had a problem. Mr. Pando
stated the issue of unattended minors, now someone will lock doors to the pool table area,
and their written policy as part of the decision satisfies me. Care to my concerms was
taken. We would retain the right to modify, etc. To put probationary approval in the
motions, guidance would be needed. Chairman Carroll said the rig ht to amend, modify
or revoke is enough. Mr. Pando requested that Atty. Schneiders report to this Board in 6
months. Mr. Marini asked if there could be a sign in the bar room that stated “adults
only”. I would be ok with this. Motion made for approval of 18-10-SP-V to grant a
special permit for arcade games, 21 games, per sun star vending plan exhibit A and plan
