Minutes Board of Selectmen June 7, 2016 Memorial Hall - Salah Meeting Room Present: Robert E. Burr, Jr., Chairman, Mark J. Porter, Vice-Chairman, Kevin T. Feeney, Clerk, John J. Connolly, Member, William T. Friel, Town Administrator, Jennifer Kemalian, Administrative Secretary. Meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. It was noted that Mr. Del Vecchio was not in attendance at the meeting due to a personal matter. A moment of silence was held for Ralph Blanchard, former Conservation Commission member, as he had passed away. Thoughts and prayers were sent to his family. Mr. Feeney noted that there was a public hearing for a licensing matter. He made a motion to open the public hearing for the transfer of license of an all alcohol club license, management/operating agreement and alteration of premises as well as a common victualler permit from Blue Hill Associates, I nc. d/b/a Blue Hill Country Club, 23 Pecunit Street to Concert Blue Hill Bevco, LLC d/b/a Blue Hill Country Club, 23 Pecunit Street. Motion: Mr. Feeney Second: Mr. Porter Vote: 4-0 Attorney Matthew Fogelman and Francesco Ventura were representing Concert Blue Hill Bevco, LLC d/b/a Blue Hill Country Club. Mr. Friel noted that the application was complete and favorable action was being recommended. Motion was made to transfer the license of an all alcohol club license, management/operating agreement and alteration of premises as well as a common victualler permit from Blue Hill Associates, Inc. d/b/a Blue Hill Country Club, 23 Pecunit Street to Concert Blue Hiil Bevco, LLC d/b/a Blue Hill Country Club, 23 Pecunit Street. Motion: Mr. Feeney Second: Mr. Porter Vote: 4-0 Motion was made to approve the Board of Selectmen Meeting Schedule from July 2016 through December 2016 and to reschedule the June 14th meeting to June 2g`n Motion: Mr. Feeney Second: Mr. Porter Vote: 4-0 Motion was made to approve additional Taxi License for The Right Ride, Barbar Saade, owner. Motion: Mr. Feeney Second: Mr. Porter Vote: 4-0 Motion was made to approve the request from the Canton Playground and Recreation Commission and Canton Parks and Recreation to hold a Road Race on July 4, 2016 contingent upon Police and Fire Department approval.
