Minutes Board of Selectmen Executive Session March 22, 2011 Memorial Hall - Salah Meeting Room Present: Victor Del Vecchio, Chairman, Avril Elkort, Vice-Chairman, Robert E. Burr, Jr., Clerk, John J. Connolly, Member, Gerald A. Salvatori, Jr., Member, William T. Friel, Town Administrator, Jennifer Andrews, Administrative Secretary. Meeting was called to order at 8:15 p.m. Mr. Friel presented to the Board an agreement with Town Counsel relative to an increase in the monthly retainer fee. He explained that there have been two amendments to the original agreement. In 2008 there was an amendment including an annual retainer increase of $7500 and in 2010 there was an amendment including an annual increase of $3500 both of which had already been voted and implemented, but the Finance Department needed an executed agreement with the increase. Mr. Friel recommended signing the amendment as affirmation of the previously agreed to increase of $3500 per year in retainer fees. Motion was to approve and execute the second amendment to the Town Counsel agreement dated April 5, 2003 as recommended by the Town Administrator for a annual retainer increase of $3500 for a total annual retainer of $56,000.00 Motion: Mr. Burr Second: Ms. Elkort Vote: 5-0
