Board of Selectmen 
Executive Session 
August 7, 2012 
Memorial Hall - Salah Meeting Room 
Present: Avril T. Elkort, Vice-Chairman, Gerald A. Salvatori, Jr., Clerk, John J. Connolly, Member, 
Victor D. Del Vecchio, Member, William T. Friel, Town Administrator, Jennifer Bright, 
Administrative Secretary. 
Meeting was called to order at 7:55 p.m. 
Individual Contracts 
Mr. Friel presented eight employee contracts for approval and signature. The contracts were 
for the Deputy Fire Chief, Human Resource Administrator, Network Coordinator, 
Superintendent of Public Works, Town Engineer, Assistant Town Engineer, Information Systems 
Manager and the Finance Director. He noted that the contracts had minimal language changes; 
modest increases in life or travel expenses, three year term extension (FY13-FY15) and three 
years of a 2% cost of living increase each year. He noted that the contracts were being 
favorably recommended and consistent with BOS guidance previously provided. 
There was a brief discussion the requests and recommendation. 
Motion was made to approve and execute the individual contracts for the Deputy Fire Chief, 
Human Resource Administrator, Network Coordinator, Superintendent of Public Works, Town 
Engineer, Assistant Town Engineer, Information Systems Manager and the Finance Director. 
Motion: Mr. Salvatori Second: Ms. Elkort Vote: 4-0 
Motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 8:20 p.m.
