Executive Session Minutes Board of Selectmen May 24, 2016 Salah Meeting Room Present: Robert E. Burr, Jr., Chairman, Mark J. Porter, Vice-Chairman, Kevin T. Feeney, Clerk, Victor D. Del Vecchio, Member, John J. Connolly, Member, William T. Friel, Town Administrator, Jody Middleton, Human Resource Director Meeting was called to order at 8:30 p.m. Ms. Middleton and Mr. Friel presented to the Board were the general results of the soon to be completed employee position description and classification update, it was acknowledged any ultimate decision making relative to the report would require notification with a variety of municipal staff members/unions. Ms. Middleton detailed for the board the thorough Employee Outreach and Communication process. The draft compensation data has not yet been discussed with employees or released. Over the coming week further negotiation will be initiated and ongoing. Special emphasis of the compensation data (comparable communities) was made to get as much accurate comparable and current data as possible. Motion was made to adjourn executive session at 9:10 p.m. Each answered in the affirmative.
