Motion: Mr. Feeney Mr. Connolly Vote: 5-0 Mr. Aspinwall updated the Board on the Ponkapoag School Site Monopole. He explained that he had met with representatives of Sprint because their lease had expired. The lease needs to go out to bid. Sprint had made Mr. Aspinwall aware that it would need to construct a new pole in order to accommodate the newer technology. The new pole would need to be 140 feet tall and be wider as well. Mr. Feeney suggested speaking with the Zoning Board regarding the dimension as the Zoning Board has a vetting process that it goes through. Mr. Porter noted that he would like to keep the American flag on the pole even if the pole gets replaced. The Board discussed the matter and determined that this is a Zoning Board matter. Motion was made to authorize Mr. Aspinwall to continue with discussions regarding the monopole and to consult with the Zoning Board.
