Porter 1 Vice Chairman Christopher J. Connolly Clerk Thomas W. Theodore I John J. Connolly Also Present: Charles J. Aspinwall, Town Administrator, Jim Murgia, Finance Director, Jody Middleton, Human Resource Director, Sue Shillue, Cook and Company and Laurie Bogue, Administrative Secretary Executive Session for the purpose to discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining (Health Insurance) and that the chair declared that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the negotiating and litigating position of the public body was called to order at 6:47 A discussion was had regarding the Health Insurance and proposed rates, comparing the current benefits to GIC. The discussion talked about estimated savings and it was noted that the proposed plan was less out of paychecks, but co-pays will slightly increase. It was noted that the GIC will be looked at in a future year. A motion was made to invoke the rule of necessity, vote: 4-0 in favor.
