Chairman Pando opens the meeting at 6:00 pm and reads the agenda.
Tony Nguyen/ David Nguyen — 30 Colts Crossing — 26 -20 -SP -V
Chairman Pando opens the hearing and reads the petition. Mr. David Nguyen states he is
the petitioner for the hearing. He is joined by his father Tony Nguyen. Mr. Nguyen states
they need dimensional relief on an accessory structure. He states they went through the
Board of Selectmen and got approval for storage of more than 4 vehicles. Mr. Nguyen
describes the dimensional relief needed. Chairman Pando states looking at the lot there is
no other place to put the garage which would cause them to need a variance. Chairman
Pando asks how many vehicles Mr. Nguyen would like to store. Mr. Nguyen states that
they are a family of six and they would like to store seven vehicles. Mr. McCourt asks
how many vehicles will be stored in the garage. Mr. Nguyen states they will store four in
the proposed garage. Mr. McCourt states that this is fairly straightforward, it's a very large
lot and a beautiful house. Mr. Armando asks if they have spoken to their neighbors. Mr.
Nguyen states he met with all the neighbors, and they are very supportive. Chairman
Pando asks if anyone would like to speak with respect to the hearing. He states he is
seeing none. Chairman Pando states they are looking for two things: a special permit to
store seven vehicles on the property, and a variance due to the lot shape which precludes
them from meeting the side yard setbacks requirements.
Mr. McCourt makes a motion on behalf of Tony and David Nguyen of 30 Colts Crossing .
to issue a special permit to park up to seven vehicles. The Board reserves the right to
amend or modify the decision. Mr. Armando seconds. Vote 3-0 approve.
