Select Board 1Jxecutive Session Minutes April 26, 2022 Memorial hall, Salah Meeting Room 801 Washington Street, Canton, MA Present: Chair Michael C. Loughran I Vice Chair Lisa R. Lopez Clerk Thomas W. Theodore I Christopher J. Connolly I John J. Connolly Also Present: Charles J. Aspinwall, Town Administrator and Laurie Bogue, Administrative Secretary Executive Session to conduct strategy in preparation for negotiations (AFSCME Negotiations, Prospective Town Administrator) if the Chair declares that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the negotiating or bargaining position of the public body was called to order at 6:40 PM The Chair updated the Board on the progress he had made with the prospective Town Administrator. There was a brief discussion regarding the requests and the counter offers to be made. Mr. M. Loughran left the meeting at 6:56 PM. Mr. Aspinwall updated the Board on the progress that he and Ms. Middleton had made with AFSCME regarding their contract. Motion was made to close and adjourn Executive Session at 7:10 p.m. and return to open session for the purpose of adjourning the meeting Roll call vote was taken Mr. C. Connolly Affirmative Ms. L.
