rya. Select Board Executive Session Minutes December 19, 2023 6:30 PM Memorial Hall, Salah Meeting Room 801 Washington Street, Canton, MA Present: Chair Thomas W. Theodore I Vice Chair John J. Connolly Clerk Michael C. Loughran I Christopher M. Albert I John R. McCourt Also Present: Charles E. Doody, Town Administrator, Laurie Bogue, Administrative Secretary, Jody Middleton, Human Resource Director. Mr. Loughran and Mr. Albert not in attendance Motion was made to go to Executive Session to discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation (AFSCME) was called to order at 6:32 PM if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating position of the public body and the chair so declares. Roll call was taken and each answered in the affirmative Mr. J. Connolly Affirmative Mr. J. McCourt Affirmative Mr. T. Theodore Affirmative Jody Middleton, Human Resource Director was before the Board to discuss a request from AFSCME and the Board voted to approve the recommendation for the AFSCME Member. Discussion continued. Motion was made that the Board authorize AFSCME members to donate sick to another member through January 30, 2024 Roll call was taken and each answered in the affirmative Mr. J.
